Meaning: Oh Lord Shiva, I am constantly thinking of you, worshipping your lotus feet, surrendering to you, and by words asking for nothing but You, Please cast your glance on me -- the glance which is being prayed for by all the divines. Oh Universal Guru, please tell my mind what is shreyas (Ultimate Good) for it.
Your interpretation of the shloka as the depiction of Ishvara in the Dakshinamurti form is new to me, but it is very apt and illuminationg. Thanks. Now I see the usefulness of a 'blog'.
Hari Om, Welcome to the world of blogging. Your thoughts will be a valuable addition.
